          Simple present tense adalah kalimat digunakan untuk menyatakan fakta, kebiasaan atau kejadian yang terjadi saat ini

formula:
1. +) S+To be (am, is, are)+nominal.
     -) S+To be (am, is, are)+not+nominal.
    ?) To be (am, is, are)+S+nominal.
2. +) S+Verb₁+(s/es)+Object.
     -) S+do/does+not+Verb₁+Object.
    ?) Do/does+S+Verb₁+Object.

a. Dipergunakan untuk menyatakan suatu perbuatan yang menjadi kebiasaan atau peristiwa
    yang terjadi setiap hari (habitual action)
b. Dipergunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kebenaran umum (general truth)
c. Dipergunakan untuk menyatakan suatu perintah atau permintaan kepada orang kedua atau
    lawan bicara.
d. Dipergunakan untuk mendapatkan suatu kejadian atau peristiwa yang sudah pasti daan    
    akan terjadi maupun dilaksanakan pada waktu yang akan datang.

     -)She doesn’t wash her face before going to bed.
    ?)Does she wash her face before going to bed?

2. +)Cheeta is the fastest animal in the world.
     -)Cheeta is not the fastest animal in the world.
    ?)Is Cheeta the fastest animal in the world?

     -)He doesn’t tell me that he will never leave me alone.
